To be fair though, by accepting the discount (which he clearly gave you for a reason), you’re validating that behavior.

bryan makes a good point! i am validating it, but at the same time i didn’t actually realize i was getting hit on, until i had already walked away when he made the comment. i thought he was just being friendly. i guess, i’m used to grocery store workers being friendly since i’m from california (and yes this is a generalization - but californians seems more friendly while interacting with customers than new yorkers.)
