grocery store & men

so alex is coming tomorrow and i’m going to make him dinner for our first night together again. so i went over to the grocery store to buy some things i needed and low and behold i got hit on. TWICE! the first time was at the grocery store when i was buying salmon, the guy was speaking spanish to me, and i kind of understood him and was just being friendly. next thing i know he’s giving me a discount on the fish and then when i walk away, he tells me i’m looking good.

then, i went to a different place to pick up some veggies/fruit because it’s cheaper and fresher than the regular grocery stores, and as i’m walking home, some guy “hollers” at me, and i just ignore him.

seriously, men, this question is addressed to you. DOES THIS EVER WORK? i do not know one person that has ever gotten hit on randomly on the street or in a grocery store and dated them. ever. and i’m wondering if the guys are even serious about it either. what if i gave some guy my phone number on the street, would he even have the courage to call me? i just don’t get the motivation behind it. stop treating me like a piece of ass, because we both know you aren’t going to get it.

so guys, if you have the answer, please let me know, why do people do this?
