i’m back to regular blogging! and of course that means regular photos of me sitting around. i went to trader joe’s today at union square and picked up some delicious beverages because i was tired of drinking water and milk. seriously, i am not joking. new york city grocery stores are so different from the ones in california. even the trader joe’s, which is about the same size, has the same food, is different! there are about four times the amount of cash registers for good reason, they have people holding up signs for where the end of the lines are, for good reason, and about ten times the amount of customers in the store. all in all, i think the trip to trader joe’s was worth it. the food is quality, and the prices are pretty cheap. i’m going to take a trip out to flushing tomorrow to buy some other things because asian markets are usually significantly cheaper - plus flushing is further out of the city making it a bit more bearable with the whole line situation.
