Happy Birthday to Alex! We had a delicious dinner at Plein Sud tonight! It was part of my birthday gift to him. We both agreed we haven’t had such a nice meal in awhile. To start I got the creamy duck liver mousse, and then the roasted lamb. Alex got the carrot salad to start, followed by the salmon filet. Both our entrees were cooked perfectly, and the right portions. For dessert we shared the creme brulee with blackberries, and I had a glass of wine. Since his birthday is the day before Halloween, we are going to stay in and watch some Halloween themed movies, and we’re passing out candy to the children in my apartment building tomorrow. I wasn’t too prepared for Halloween this year in terms of costumes, so it ended up being more low key than I had planned. Next year, I’m thinking: Pikachu or a grape?  Outfit details:J.
