dead & gone

my laptop’s hard drive just died. you’d think that after my external crashed i would have backed everything up right away… well, i didn’t. it was right before finals, and then i was busy getting my life in order for new york, and then i’ve been in new york and had been meaning to but didn’t. well, it’s all gone now. my external and laptop!

it all started because my wireless wasn’t working, so i went into the apple store for an appointment. low & behold it wasn’t something wrong with my wireless, instead it was my actual computer. hard drive corrupted! so i try and salvage the data and low and behold, that doesn’t work either. 24 hours and my laptop went from wireless disconnecting to totally unfunctioning. awesome.

i have another appointment on monday evening at the apple store, and i hope i get a new computer asap. still bummed that i lost all of my data from 4+ years in a span of 2 months.
