not to interview

so in efforts to be productive today, i applied to a bunch of jobs on craigslist, and without thinking i applied to a few personal assistant positions. one of them emailed me back right away asking if i could come in today for an interview. which is when i realized, i probably shouldn’t be applying to jobs until i figure out what is going on with this internship i am interview for on monday. if i get this internship, which i really hope i do, i’d want to work my work schedule around that - whether that is a weekend/nights job or a tuesday/thursday job or whatever.

so because i’m unwilling to sacrifice the possiblity of getting this internship i’m deciding not to apply to jobs anymore until next week when i know more. with the exception of retail jobs. i’m going to make my rounds tomorrow in the city and get a bunch of job applications for retail positions.

and on a non-job related note, my friend ben is living in brooklyn this summer and i haven’t seen him in what seems like… 3 years ago? so we are meeting up tomorrow at the film forum to see bye bye birdie and have a catch-up session. i’m also probably going to try to wait in line tomorrow to get a bite to eat at shake shack.

this week has been looking a lot better than last week.
