So this post is a bit overdue, and I’m using a photo from Kim’s blog and Jenna for the Coach twitter.
On Fashion’s Night Out, I was pretty lazy and overwhelmed by the amount of things going on so Keiko said I should just tag a long with her. We met up at the Coach store and hung out with Kim, Eliot, and Christine. They had drinks and appetizers and customized tote bags. I skipped out on the totes because I never carry them anymore, but I did indulge in some of the food and beverages, which were tasty. Then we mad a pit stop at Juicy to say hi to their friend who was hosting a livestream, and went down to Bleecker Street. Afterwards I ran down to SoHo’s IF Boutique to meet Jason and Yuri from Lookbook, and hung out with them while they shopped and grabbed some Mexican food afterwards. By the way - I think they found good Mexican food in New York! And it’s walking distance from my apartment!
All in all, it was a fun experience. I missed out last year because I went to San Diego to hang out with Alex before he started school, and this year it was a mad house out on the streets. I’ve never seen so many people outside at night, lined up to go to the stores, or in Midtown! I work in Midtown, and that place is pretty dead at night. But 5th Ave and Madison were packed!
