Lately I’ve been missing San Diego a lot. As all my friends recall, I was so ready to get out of there, even before I got there. But lately, I’m starting to appreciate all the things I had there, the laid back environment, the beaches, and the weather (although, I’ve always appreciated the weather.) Maybe it’s because I haven’t been back since late December, but lately I can’t help but think about heading back to California. Main reasons I don’t want to go back yet: the public transportation is horrible, and I will miss being able to walk so easily from neighborhood to neighborhood. Main reasons I do want to go back: I miss my friends, the weather, the beach, the food, Sushi Deli, relaxed attitudes, and a slower pace of life. I think I just need a nice long vacation in California and then I can be clear minded and able to come back to New York. When that vacation is going to take place, I’m not sure.
