telephone bankers

i just spent half an hour yelling at my online banking folks over at wamu (soon to be chase). it doesn’t make any sense that their “alerts & notifications” come a day late, what is the point of getting an alert then? his response “our alerts don’t come in real time, when we switch over to chase it will be.” THAT’S NOT A FUCKING REASON! oh, so you’re saying your bank is just too crappy to actually have a system that works, but they inform you to sign up for it nonetheless? that makes absolutely no sense. they might as well not even have alerts then! it’s the same thing.
