work for the rest of spring

i just got my schedule for the rest of the school year, and i’m barely working at night shifts. which is good and bad. good? because i really need some time to focus on finishing school - my life for the last few weeks has been really devoted to the loft (which, i really do not mind.) bad? because i need money.

but it just kind of came down to scheduling, the nights there were events, a lot of them i had night class or i had to request off (such as flying to chicago and concert tickets i bought a million years ago) plus there just aren’t as many events at the end of the school year.

i’m kind of sad my time at the loft is coming to an end, i really hope this venue goes on to do bigger and better things. and hopefully the fire marshall gets up there so he can make the capacity larger! i really want to see this place become a core venue in san diego. i think that will probably happen once the restaurant is in.
