one of my many frustrations right now. i’m sure i’ll elaborate more in future posts.
i want to give up.
Groupon →
groupon is amazing. this site gives you the best deals in not just new york, but in san diego, los angeles, san francisco, seattle, washington dc, and more! they feature a different deal every day, and you can get the deals sent to your email every morning. but you only have 24 hours to take advantage of the deal.
just say yes.
i finally went out. after work. on a saturday night.
it was actually my first time even going “out” in new york, and i can’t say i didn’t have a good time. at first it started out kind of boring, but dancing my heart out for two hours can never be a bad thing. it’s a good work out for sure.
American Apparel Student Survival Kit →
american apparel is having a sale! yes, a sale! i think it’s super rare for them to have in store sales (aside from the rummage sales that they started doing a little while back.) but this one is awesome, they have it both in store and online. the packages actually DO come with essential back to clothes items and it includes a backpack! so get it while you can!
they also have some limited...
Reasons why today sucks less than yesterday:
Bug bites itch less.
Cupcakes from Babycakes!
On the way to get a new iPhone.
I didn’t get new bug bites.
I didn’t have a fever.
I finally deposited my paycheck so hopefully I won’t be overdrafted.
It’s sad to think the things I’m excited about all relate to the lack of bug bites, money, and sickness. And I’m always excited about food.
Student Loans
christineyweenie:
My office mate just told me he received his student loan statement and he owes $17,000+… that is SO MUCH MONEY! And I am well aware that many people owe even larger sums. My mind is just boggled… I can’t imagine owing that much money (though after grad school, I might). I feel so fortunate to have no student loans and should probably tell my parents thanks for working so hard...
